FAQ CARESENS®
Uploading your glucose values to the computer is possible. Therefor you have two options:
Option 1: Uploading the data using the CareSens USB cable to the Smartlog software or Diasend. You can buy the CareSens USB cable in our webshop.
Option 2: Uploading the date to the Smartlog application on your smartphone. Please download the Smartlog app in your Appstore and connect the meter and your smartphone by using Bluetooth.
Check the error message via the maintenance manual Error messages. In this chapter of the operating manual you will find all meanings of error messages.
The operating manual gives a number of tips for troubleshooting.

Recommended Smartphone Operating System Requirements:
iOS: iOS 10 and 4.1 BLE Version or above
Android: Android 6.0 and 4.1 BLE Version or above
Steps 1 through 4 on your glucose meter:
Step 1: Turn on the CareSens N Premier glucose meter
Step 2: Press the S button on the glucose meter for three seconds
Step 3: ''SET'' appears in the display. With the arrows on the glucose meter "Yes" appears on the screen and press the S button again.
Step 4: "BT" appears on the screen. Press the arrows on the glucose meter and the word "PAIr" will appear on the screen, then press the S button again.
Step 1 to 6 on your mobile device:
Step 1: Turn on the Bluetooth on your mobile device Step
2: Start the smartlog app
Step 3:Choose ''More'' ''Meter Connection''''Bluetooth''''Search''
Step 4:On your mobile device you will now find ''CARESENS'' icm with a 4-digit code. Press this message.
Step 5: Your glucose meter will now display a 6-digit pin, enter the pin code and press ''OK''.
Step 6: Your glucose meter and telephone are linked and the stored test results are now visible in the smartlog app on your mobile device.
If your CareSens N Premier glucose meter does not connect to the SMARTLOG app, check that Your glucose meter is on Your glucose meter has paired with the app to your mobile device The Bluetooth® feature on your mobile device and your glucose meter is enabled Your glucose meter is close enough to your mobile device.
